[EBB Sightings] Junco brings wrong baby to patio

Having just returned from 8 days at Yuba Pass, we were finishing the 
unpacking of our car when Rosita said there was a Junco in the Japanese 
Maple in our patio.  They have been coming on and off for a number of weeks, 
sometimes one, sometimes two, but they have always fed off the cement.

The Junco flew to the seed feeder and started taking seeds from the tray at 
the bottom of the plastic tube.  Meanwhile, a chick flew and landed on 
another steel hanger.  The adult started feeding the chick, and we realized 
it was a fledgling Brown-headed Cowbird.  Darn.
