Checking my backyard bird diary--on October 12, 2008, a CA Thrasher hopped
into our backyard from the hillside brush, kicked around leaves under the
seed feeder for a short while and then went up up and away...not spotted
since. We live in the Refugio Valley area of Hercules with a small garden
that is backed up to hillside "PG&E land".
