Yesterday birding The Round Top Picnic area on Mt. Diablo State Park, -
there was a nice showing of the Oak Chaparral birds.
California Quail - 2
Wrentit - 2
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 5
California Thrasher - 2
Acorn Woodpeckers -2
Ash-throated Flycatcher - 3
Pacific slope Flycatcher -1
Western Wood-Pewee -1
Western Scrub-Jay - 5
Lesser Goldfinch - 2
Sage Sparrow - 1 singing male
Rufous-crowned Sparrow - 4
