As reported earlier in the afternoon by Calvin Walters, there were 5 White-faced Ibis at the marsh this evening between 6-7 PM. Along with the ibis, there are many Amer. Avocet chicks running around, attended to and protected from the gulls and ravens by their vigilant parents. A lone Bonaparte's Gull was resting before it flew off. Also present were:

15 Western Grebes, a high number at this time of the year according to eBird filters, in the channel along Doolittle
2 pairs of Canada Geese with goslings
    Forester's Terns
    Caspian Terns
    A pair of Gadwalls
    1 American Widgeon
    BN Stilts
    Killdeer
    Western Gulls
    Raven

Enter Arrowhead Marsh at the Swan Dr. entrance and park in the first lot to the left. Walk along the road to the path on the right at the end of the big parking lot to view the ponds.
