This morning along the paved road leading up to Vollmer Peak (part of the
    Seaview Trail), I spotted 4 MacGillivray's Warblers and heard a 5th one.
The 1st one was spotted just before the top of the first hill and radio
tower, the next 3 (male/female pair and a vocal male) just before the dip
in the paved road near the junction with a gravel road, and the 5th was
spotted just at the start of where the paved road makes its final steep
ascent. A LAZULI BUNTING was also in this last location, in a lone,
scraggly Monterey Pine just to the north of the road. The Warblers were
most vocal between 8:30 and 9:00 AM.

Vollmer Peak trailhead is reached just past the Tilden Park steam train
    parking lot.
