    What a wonderful experience - and a grand story!
    
    On the spot, I suspect, I couldn't have helped thinking about one of my 
    favorite lines about hummers: if they were even the size of pigeons, it 
    wouldn't be safe to leave the house! That much beak with that much 
    aggressiveness behind it would be a serious threat. But I'd still have 
    been charmed out of my gourd.
