[EBB Sightings] Loggerhead Shrike near Ohlone College

This morning, Monday 4/27/09, there was a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE on the cyclone fence at 41700 Boyce Road in Fremont at the Borden's Glue Factory. Boyce Road turns into Cherry Street one block south of Ohlone College in Newark. I had to take a double take and make a U-turn to confirm the Shrike, as there are also several NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRDS in the area.

 The BURROWING OWLS were present here this morning, as they have been for weeks. I only recently figured out that there were two, as only one is usually obvious on the berm from the road.
