[EBB Sightings] Castle Rock area Calliope Hummingbird

Hi E. B. Birders,

Here are a few birds we saw along the Castle Rock trail in 
Diablo Foothills Reg. Park this morning:

Calliope Hummingbird - 1 female in the chaparral,
 before the old spillway

Western Tanagers - 2 males

Lazuli Bunting  - 1 male singing

Townsend's Warbler - 2

Cassin's Vireo - 1 singing

Peregrine Falcon - 2  one was heard calling as it 
flew to one of the large rock outcropping with a 
very large, mostly white Rock Pigeon.

Many other breeding species were seen and heard here, too.
