[EBB Sightings] also parents

We also have a chickadee nest in our box, the second time in the 15 years
I'm here (1st was 2003).  Over the weekend I saw an adult stick its head
in the hole to feed someone, so I am assuming the eggs have hatched.

Also, for the first time, we have a scrub jay nest, in the orange tree
outside the bedroom window.  I had feared it abandoned a month ago, but
mama (only, I think) has been sitting for the past couple weeks. 
Unfortunately, depsite standing ona stool by the window, I wasn't able to
see in very well, but I thought I saw hints of eggs.  Over the past few
mornings I've been hearing new vocalizations, and this morning, both
parents were at the nest together and seemed to be feeding chicks.

The Mourning Dove nest I reported last month failed and was apparently
predated overnight at the first of the month.
