[EBB Sightings] Hayward Shoreline and San Leandro Marina (04/21)

Seen today at the shoreline and marina -

Black Oystercatcher - 2 first seen at the San Leandro Marina, they then flew south to San Lorenzo Creek. The last record in this area was 11-24-04. I only have 1 other April record (4-14-02) and 1 May record (5-5-04) for this area.

Wandering Tattler - 1 at the San Leandro Marina.

Surfbird - 26 at the San Leandro Marina.

Red Knot - dozens at Frank's Dump West. Mostly they were in breeding plumage, but a few were in winter plumage.

Pacific-slope Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave.

Cedar Waxwing - 4 at Winton Ave.
