Late this afternoon we observed a Golden Eagle soaring above the rolling
hills in Concord about 2 miles northeast of Mt. Diablo off Kirker Pass Road
at the entrance to the Pavilion. A Red-tailed Hawk was attacking and chasing
him out of the area.
