[EBB Sightings] Cackling goose, wood duck

At the pond in Union City next to the municipal offices (Alvarado Niles & 
Royal Ann Dr.) there was a Cackling Goose (leucopareia) at 11 this morning. 
Shortly thereafter in Fremont, at the Alameda Creek staging area along Old 
Canyon Rd. (mouth of Niles Canyon), there was a pair of Wood Ducks -- just 
upstream from the low dam at the upstream end of the park lawn.  Presumably 
it was the same birds that were visible a bit downstream, without getting 
out of the car, from the parking lot, a couple of times last week.
