[EBB Sightings] TuDu, Redh, R-nDu, BaGo at Lake Merritt

This morning (2/3/09) everyone in my birding class saw the male Tufted Duck, 
the female Redhead, and the male Ring-necked Duck at Lake Merritt.   They were 
all in the lake near the Rotary Science Center.   We saw them from about 10 
to about 10:15 AM and later saw the TuDu there at about 11:15 AM.   A park 
person was feeding the ducks at the earlier sighting, but not at the later 
sighting.   We also saw a Mew Gull there.

Before class, I saw 1 female Barrow's Goldeneye at the south side of the lake 
at about 9:10AM.   I parked at the southwestern-most end of Lakeshore Ave. to 
see it.   There was only 1 parking space available at that time.
