[EBB Sightings] Ring-necked Duck--Jewel Lake

I noticed the Ring-Necked Duck yesterday, after having not been at the Nature Area in a while.  It seemed to be cat-napping in the middle of the "Lake", alternating between resting pose and gentle swimming.  Otherwise, there were the usual male and female Bufflehead.  The non-mallards were definitely late arrivers this year.  There was at least one Ring-necked Duck 2 winters ago in the same pond when I started birding, but don't recall any last year or to date this year.
