    I did send the message to Jesse Grantham, Condor Recovery Coordinator with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to see if any of their GPS hits have shown a bird wandering north of Pinnacles.  Many of the condors do not have GPS units, and only have radio transmitters.  I will let you know if I hear back from Jesse.

    Just to play devil's advocate.
    
    Apparently, several of the Pinnacles Condors wear transponders and are followed around by satellites (which must be an eerie feeling). One particular bird seems to have wanderlust and has been tracked to Coalinga, and on another occasion to Fremont.
    
    So hoping for California Condor on your yard list isn't totally unreasonable.
