[EBB Sightings] Redwood Rd - No. Saw-whet Owl's

Last night Debbie and I drove Redwood Rd from Castro Valley north bound. At
our second stop around mm 9.0 we had a distant Northern Saw-whet Owl respond
to the tape. We continued driving north stopping every mile or so. At mm 3.2
we had a very close Saw-whet calling. We got out the car and the bird flew
over our head crossing the road landing on a Madrone Oak. We had about 5
second view of the little guy before it disappeared into the dense trees.
