Today, between 2:30 and 3:30, while enjoying a late lunch at Black  
Diamond Mines Regional Park, a female Phainopepla was actively  
feeding on mistletoe berries in a nearby nearly leafless Blue Oak.   
We were in the picnic area adjacent to and on the west of the upper  
parking lot.
