After being encouraged yesterday by both Emilie Strauss and Jane Dang to go
down to the end of Rydin Road to see the Harris's Sparrow, I finally did,
and dipped. But since Emilie saw it yesterday early in the morning, and
Jane and Jean Richmond saw it yesterday after lunch by the white dumpster, I
decided to try this morning early (8 AM) by the dumpster - where I found Bob
Battagin... but then we spotted the sparrow inside the dog park just on the
edge of the pathway, next to a small pine just north of the dumpster, with a
flock of white-crowned and golden-crowned sparrows. The birds seem pretty
oblivious to dog-walkers, moving into the tree to let them go by, then back
    to the ground to feed.

Not sure if it was noted yesterday, but there is also a White-throated
Sparrow (tan) in the area, seen a little further north along the Bay Trail
where the dog park ends. It was in the fennel on both sides of the trail.
