    Hi EB Birders:

I called the Birdbox this afternoon and around noon Jim ? (sorry, I
couldn't understand the last name) had left a good description of what
sounded to me like a Sage Thrasher. I followed his directions and
was quickly able to find the bird at 3pm.

    >From the Interpretive Center take the SF Bay Trail west towards
Johnson's Landing. The bird was around the gate immediately after the
first bridge crossing. It also flew north across the slough to the
next gate. It went back and forth from gate to gate several times
while I was there and was easily flushed, especially by passing
    bicyclists.

The ranger at the Interpretive Center told me that the bird had also
been seen at the same spot on Friday.

    Good birding.
