Yesterday morning there was a single Snow Goose mixed in with the Canada Geese on Radio Tower Hill at the Hayward Shoreline. There were also a few Cackling Geese in with them. To get there, park at the end of West Winton Ave. in Hayward and take the paved trail on the north side of the canal west to the bay. Turn north on the gravel road and go about a quarter of a mile. The hill is the green grassy area on the right before getting to Frank's Dump pond.

    >From the viewing platform at the Interpetive Center at the Hayward Shoreline, I was able to see a large flock of Bonaparte's Gulls flying and roosting in the City of Hayward ponds area to the north.
