[EBB Sightings] Hoodie alert

Hi all:

I stopped at Gates of Heaven Cemetery (off of Cristo Rey Dr. on the entry road to Rancho San Antonio) on the way into work this a.m. Three fem/juv Hooded Mergansers were in the small pond adjacent to the big pond in the center of the facility. 

Yesterday I walked up to the cafe at Deep Cliff Golf Course (across the street from McClellan Ranch) and one female/juv Hooded Merganser was swimming in the pond below the dining platform (they serve a fine tuna melt; the cafe does, not the Mergansers). No males seen at either location.
