[EBB Sightings] Chukar at the Berkeley Meadow, Saturday

I saw this solitary adult (male I believe) walking along the asphalt pathway near the gate at the west side of the Meadow.

I had parked my truck and was wiping my binoculars when it calmly passed, approx 20 ft distant.? No doubt on the ID, needless to say.? This bird is far beyond its normal range.? Have others on this forum previously sighted this bird in the Bay Area?
