[EBB Sightings] Cackling Goose Walnut Creek

Yesterday afternoon, Rosita came home from a walk in Heather Farm Park, 
Walnut Creek, telling me there was a small goose mixed in with the Canada 
Geese.  We returned by bike and watched many of the Canada Geese fly from 
the large mostly natural pond to the north baseball fields.  After riding 
over there, she eventually picked it out.  We often have one show up at some 
time during the winter.

I kind of like the white domestic goose with a little grey in its face, 
which likes to hang out and fly around with the Canada Geese.  It is a nice 
change from the normal domestic geese which walk around in a small flock and 
make messes and lots of noise.  Maybe it should be named "Jonathan 
Livingston."
