    Hi EB birders:

Late in the morning I saw what I believe was a first fall female
Black-throated Blue Warbler along the west edge of Mt. Trashmore. It
was working slowly and methodically low in the dense fennel about
50-100 feet from the northwest corner. It called quite a bit with
repeated chip notes and, at one point it flicked both wings and tail
several times. Interesting to me and what might bring the id into
question is the total lack of pale feathering at the base of the
primaries (which I haven't seen before in this species) and rather
broad buffy supercilium. I hope others can refind this bird!

    Good birding.
