As far as I know, neither the Virginia's Warbler nor the Clay-colored 
Sparrow were seen this morning. I did see a very bright, tan-striped 
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW in with a flock of White-crowned Sparrows in the 
base of the middle fennel patch north of the eucalyptus trees along the 
Winton Ave. parking lot. The birds scooted back under the low trees 
with the purple fruits.
Also in this fennel patch was a very gray-headed Orange-crowned Warbler.
