[EBB Sightings] Little Blue Heron continues / Pix

The Little Blue Heron was still feeding Wednesday morning along
Alameda Creek west of Mission Blvd. At 9:30 a.m., the heron
was feeding at the base of the inflatable dam. Over the next
30 minutes, the bird gradually worked its way downstream to the
small sandbar. The arrival of an Amtrak train on the bridge
by the dam created a commotion. The heron flew a few hundred
yards downstream and disappeared among the reeds.
