[EBB Sightings] phalaropes on glass beach

Today on a hike along the "glass beach" just north of the Berkeley  
Meadow, I saw two molting juvenile red-necked phalaropes at the mouth  
of Schoolhouse Creek. There were foraging in the mud on the old  
concrete creek culvert...also one mourning dove and a willet. No.  
harriers soaring above the B. meadow and a jackrabbit scampering out  
of sight. :-)
