[EBB Sightings] July Sharpie

I took a walk this afternoon at Pt Isabel in Richmond, and was surprised to see an adult Sharp-shinned Hawk. I know there are nesting records east of the hills; I wonder if this one is local. Sharpie's are late nesters.

Also of interest: A flock of 27 Semi-palmated Plover, a herd of 7 Black Oystercatcher, a Whimbrel and good numbers of Dowitchers. Two that were close seemed like Short-billed.
