Today Mon. July 21 I saw a Common Murre in the Richmond Marina. It was swimming in a channel close to the Bay Trail footpath among moored boats between Salute Restaurant and the Rosie Riveter Memorial at about 4 p.m. At 5 p.m. it was in the Marina at the foot of the Rosie the Riveter Memorial about 10 yards offshore. Both places are located off Regatta Boulevard in Richmond. As I don't have a computer at home feel free to call for better directions. 510/215-1864. Also seen today and yesterday a juvenille Great White Fronted Goose standing under the stern of a large moored vessel the Robert Gray also in the marina just round the corner from the memorial.
