    I saw a Chilean Flamingo over at Don Edwards on June 1st, and assumed it was the bird from Coyote Hills. I was driving out Marshlands Road, about halfway to the fishing pier. The bird was flying in the distance on the south side of Marshlands, heading west toward the bay.

    Yes, it's a permanent resident.? Since it's always found within? 
    walking distance, it presumably is incapable of flight.
