[EBB Sightings] Pacific Loon at Berkeley Marina

Hi East Bay Birders:

There was a Pacific Loon at the breakwater of the Berkeley Marina this
morning around 9am.  It swam into the marina where I lost it. I went
around to the east end of the marina but was unable to refind it.
Although showing some indications of breeding plumage, pale gray side
of neck and nape and bright red eye, the bird otherwise seemed to be
in adult non-breeding plumage with a chin strap and very dark back.

Earlier, from the foot of the Berkeley Pier looking towards Oakland
harbor, I scoped a distant Pigeon Guillemot.
