    Hi Birders,

At about 12:30 pm today, Karen Peterson and I were able to view all three
phalarope species at Frank's Dump West. We saw one each of Red and Wilson's
(both breeding plumaged females), but there were many Red-necked. At one point
I had all three species in one scope view -- way cool!!

I found one Least Tern roosting on a sand bar near the northern end of the
pond. There may have been more, but I had to leave and get back to work.

    Good birding,
    Kathy Robertson

The Red Phalarope was still at Hayward Shoreline around 8:30am, where the
west end of the pond is close to the bay and trail, but it moved east along
the north side of the pond beyond the next island. A Least Tern flew past
and out over the bay. No Black Terns seen.
