    Hi folks,

Just wanted to mention that there is a second Red-shouldered Hawk nest at
Sunol that is much easier to see into, and on Friday afternoon (5/2/08) I saw
an adult feeding three nestlings. This nest is easily seen from the last
(south) parking lot. Standing in the parking lot near the restroom, facing the
gate to Camp Ohlone Rd. trail, the nest is located in a sycamore that is maybe
a couple of hundred feet east of the trailhead. The nest is visible to the
naked eye, as the tree's foliage is pretty sparse.

    Good birding,
