[EBB Sightings] Pileated Woodpecker in Martinez

I was greet this morning with a wondrous drumming coming from a tree along the Alhambra Creek next to the Christmas Tree Farm on Reliez Valley Road.  I have heard the drumming last week in the afternoon but have not been able to see the woodpecker.  Today, tried to delay my departure to work with hopes of sighting the great woodpecker, but only managed to get a glimpse of a dark crow size bird flying off towards the park through my review mirror as I left my drive way.  Sometime work just get in the way of birding!
