[EBB Sightings] Mines Rd. today; belated report for Wed.

Hi all,

At milepost 7.69 on Mines Rd. today I  had a Rufous
Hummingbird. This erases one of 5 nemesis birds from
my list and the poster in the kitchen and the
dartboard in the garage.  Warbler action this
afternoon was limited to one Wilson's Warbler.
Milepost 13.97.

Wednesday morning I biked around Arrowhead Marsh.  3
Short-billed Dowitchers were foraging at the mouth of
the channel that flows into the bay, perpendicular to
Hegenberger and along the east edge of the marsh. A

Also seen in the channel was one finely spotted
Spotted Sandpiper.
