[EBB Sightings] close encounter

So... I'm sitting at my desk which looks out on our little third floor deck,
kept company by a Mourning Dove a few feet away sorting through the debris
under the feeder, when "Wham!" a large female Cooper's Hawk is looking at me
from the middle of a cloud of feathers.  After a long look, she lifts off
with dinner for her brood somewhere here in North Berkeley.

We've all got to eat.
