[EBB Sightings] Cormorants at Lake Merritt

How the other Bay Area Double-crested Cormorant colonies, such as the one
under the roadway at the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, doing?  

Historically, Double-crested Cormorants did not breed in the Bay Area at
all.  Does anybody remember when were they first detected breeding at Lake
Merritt?
