[EBB Sightings] Phainopepla at Lake Del Valle

Hi all,

I spent about 2 hours at Lake Del Valle this morning (3/16). Of note were at least 35 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS over the lake near Oak Point, and 2 PHAINOPEPLA. The Phainopepla location is less than a 1/4 mile up a short road marked "Del Valle Service Yard" (no cars allowed), just east of the bridge. They were in a mistletoe-laden oak close to the left side of the road, directly across from a parking area with large dumpsters.
