[EBB Sightings] Lake Merritt Barrow's, pics

After visiting Coyote Hills this morning, I drove on up to Lake Merritt 
hoping to photograph that Tufted Duck. I missed him, but did see a pair of 
BARROW'S GOLDENEYE displaying together about 10.30 am, near the 
construction on the southwest side of the lake. I was able to get some 
pictures, pretty distant and in harsh light, so not the best, but they 
give some idea of the action.

At Coyote Hills, no rarities, but (photographers take note) MARSH WRENS 
are singing and gathering nest material out in the open, which in my 
experience is a rarity for the shutterbug set. Thanks to Steve Zamek for 
the tip.
