[EBB Sightings] Black Scoter continues at Richmond Marina & Horned Grebes in alternate plumage

    Determined to get a better shot of the Black Scoter in Richmond, I went up
    there early this afternoon, and encountered Alex Navarro who pointed out the
    bird to me and showed me his nice photos of it.   
    
     
    
    I eventually got some shots of it later in the afternoon (better than my
    previous photo) as well as some photos of beautiful Horned Grebes in
    alternate plumage. No long-tailed duck in evidence.    The scoter was again
    more easily visible from the western side of the harbor and remained
    moderately far out towards the middle of the harbor.
