    Hi E.B. Birders,

The Black Scoter was seen this morning in the Richmond
Harbor to the north of Vincent Park at the end of
Marina Bay Parkway. Also, the Long-tailed Duck was
just beyond the end of the rocky breakwater to the
south, and the Red-throated Loon was just north of the
    breakwater.

I was able to get a digiscoped photo of a pair of
molting Horned Grebes in a display. The Birds of
North America online call this the "Penquin Dance". A
third Horned Grebe had given a plantive trill-like
call right before the pair displayed. Not a great
photo, but a behavior I do not get to photograph
    often:

Caspian Tern were chasing one another, and a (Myrtle)
Yellow-rumped Warbler was singing near the bridge at
    Meeker Slough.

    All the Best Birding,
