The first-year year Ferruginous Hawk was at Fremont Center Park
from 9:45 until I left at 11:00 a.m. Friday. It was exactly
where described in previous postings by Stephanie Floyd and
    George Chrisman.

There are two adjacent ball fields along Stevenson Blvd.
just east of the municipal office buildings. (Enter the
parking lot from Stevenson.) The hawk was, indeed, moving
among the tops of the light posts along the edge of the ball
fields closest to the lake, occasionally dropping down to
the lower trees. The grassy areas adjacent to the ball fields
are awash with ground squirrels, so that area looks it should
be a raptor foodfest for a while.
