The regularly scheduled field trip to the Thornton/Cosumnes area yesterday 
produced all the expected birds.  It was cold, but we mostly dodged the 
showers.  60 species.

Some of us stopped on Sherman Island Cross Road just north of the Antioch 
Bridge where we found a Eurasian Wigeon mixed in with lots of other nice 
ducks.
