Took the bike over the bridge and visited Don Edwards and Coyote Hills RP in Fremont this morning. In the early morning light (700AM) there were about 20 Dowitchers feeding and vocalizing in one of the small ponds along the access road at Don Edwards. Given the constant chatter, I believe Long-billed can be confirmed. Structure also appeared right for Long-billed but would appreciate input if it's better to leave these as Dowitcher sp.

On the Bayview Trail, there was a Say's Phoebe, Loggerhead Shrike and American Kestrel. While on the Bayview Trail, I saw a "largish" white goose flying with Canada Geese out near Paseo Padre Road. Very likely the Snow Goose but given the distance I can only narrow it to Ross's/Snow Goose.

There was Common Moorhen at the boardwalk near the visitor center. I then proceeded along the Bayview Trail toward the Alameda Creek bike path. In the ponds to the right, there were Cinammon Teal, Black-crowned Night Herons, and some Northern Pintail that added to my year list. On the Alameda Creek Trail, about a quarter mile before the Ardenwood junction, there was a Wilson's Snipe on the marsh side of the trail in a green, boggy area.

On the return trip, a few Bonaparte's Gulls were seen just before the fishing pier at the Dumbarton Bridge.
