[EBB Sightings] Correction re Niles Ponds and news from Union City

It has been pointed out to me that Shinn Pond in Niles
is the big pond off the Alameda Creek trail adjacent
to the BART tracks. I saw the common goldeneye and
three black-crowned night herons last night on the
smaller pond east of Shinn Pond, the one with the
observation/fishing decks, which is reached by a short
path from Niles Community Park. 

In other news...at the Union City library ponds this
morning, I could not find the wood duck, but the
wigeons are still out and whistling in full force, and
the male and female bufflehead remain within amazingly
close view.
