[EBB Sightings] Glaucous gull continues at Quarry Lakes RP Fremont

On 12/17, Kathy Robertson reported a GLAUCOUS GULL at
Quarry Lakes RP in Fremont.  I saw the bird this
afternoon and was able to get a few digiscoped photos.
 This was a new bird for me, my 1st new bird for 2008.

I did not re-find the common loon on Rainbow Lake. 
"Best" birds of the day, beyond the glaucous gull,
were a COMMON GOLDENEYE on Horseshoe Lake and a
LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE with a bug in its mouth atop a
telephone pole across the street from the park entrance.
