Today, 11 members enjoyed the wonderfully blue skies and cool weather while
visiting Sunol Regional Park. We crossed the bridge near the entry kiosk,
machine out of order, so the entry was free. We also walked to Little
Yosemite, returned for lunch and did our check-list.

Highlights among the 39 species seen or heard were: Golden Eagle, Hutton's
Vireo, Red-breasted Sapsucker, and Rufous-crowned Sparrow. While some of us
were leaving, a flock of 60-80 Wild Turkeys was seen along Geary. From
Calavaras Road, in one of the nursery areas, we had Red-winged Blackbirds
    and 7 Yellow-billed Magpies.
