    Hi birders:

Today Barbara and I decided to follow Bruce Mast's Saturday itinerary
to Livermore area leaving out the really early morning part! But we
did manage to get to Alameda/Santa Clara County line on Mines Rd at
7am. We had Western Screech-Owl at the county line and Northern
Pygmy-Owl at MP 19.76. No luck with Phainopepla but a pair of Golden
Eagles at MP 7.18 was nice.

Eurasian Collared-Doves continue on Tesla Rd. close to the Kent
winery; we saw three. We saw a second pair of Golden Eagles at MP
1.39 on Patterson Pass Rd. but dipped on Mountain Bluebirds and
Ferruginous Hawk. There were four or more large Lark Sparrow flocks
including a flock at each of the Mountain Bluebird spots reported by
    Bruce yesterday and Kathy today.

Finally, at least 10 Tricolored Blackbirds continue at the farm with
the large manure pile on Kelso Rd, about a mile west of Mountain House
    Rd.

    Good birding.
