Hello,

just a quick note to see if you can direct me for the best information 
on a short visit to san francisco; from 2/12/08 - 2/27/08.  I'm visiting 
friends by san francisco state college, and would like to use my time to 
the best birding opportunities this time of year.  i don't drive, so 
will be using public transportation most of the time.

i have been out to S.F. a half a dozen times, but usually October at the 
latest.  I'm from Rhode Island, and have birded since boy scouts (50 
yrs.), i know species will be alot different than the Fall, and would 
like to hit the best places while here

I know we're going down to Ano Nuevo, and probasbly Ft.Cronkite, and Pt. 
Reyes, but other than that i'm open for suggestions,  i also do alot of 
bird photography, so i want to do both while here.  What would be best 
chances and location to possibly find Spotted Owl??Also would like to 
find Bald, and/or Golden Eagles to photograph, Tundra Swans, and i'm 
sure my list could be endless, but i'd appreciate your helpas soon as 
you can answer my questions, many thanks for your help,
