    There have historically been a small number of male
    and female Redheads with the Scaup flocks betw.
    University and Ashby. Not so this year and I believe I
    was skunked there last year as well.  Bob Hirt noted
    they were skunked in Emeryville for the CBC.  
    
    There have been a couple of sightings of male Redhead
    in the large pond south of the Winton Ave staging area
    for the Reg. shoreline. Out of ebb range but
    regionally, the south bay salt ponds have significant
    numbers.  A review of South-bay-birds reports on
    Sialia.com should turn up some exact locations.
